.....Dave Pitz went 3 for 3 (3 singles) and a walk, 1 RBI and 1 stolen base.

 

MAY 5, 2010 (WON 8 - 4) vs Mason Dixon Red Sox.....

.....A good team win! RBI by "Coop" Cooper (1), Scott Kalista (2) & Tom Trela (2). RUNS scored by Duane Reiswig (1), Scott Murray (2), Tom Mariano (1),

Frank Leone (2), Tony Barber (1) & Scott Kalista (1).

 

MAY 8, 2010 (WON 17 - 6) vs Astros.....

.....Dave Pitz had a 5 RBI night, going 3 for 3 (2 singles, double & walk). Dave reached base 4 times and scored 4 RUNS.

 

MAY 19, 2010 (WON 7 - 0) vs Maryland Mutual Mortgage.....

.....Scott Kalista pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only three hits and

striking out eleven (11). Dwight Showalter was 2 for 3 with 3 RBI. Sean Pollack

reached base 3 times in 4 at-bats and knocked in 3 RBI. Don Hopps reached base in 3 of his 4 at-bats and stole "5" bases!

 

MAY 22, 2010 (WON 17 - 0) vs Yankees.....

.....Tom Mariano lead the offensive attack, going 3 for 3 (1 single & 2 doubles),

3 RUNS scored and 4 RBI. Can you say "PERFECT GAME"? The Bohsox can!

Scott Murray got the start, pitched 3 perfect innings of 3 up - 3 down, with 3 K's!

Al Gibbons, in relief, finished with 2 perfect innings of 3 up - 3 down, with 1 K!

The game was shortened (5 innings) due to the "10 run rule"! GREAT WIN GUYS!

 

JUNE 2, 2010 (LOST 4 - 3) vs Astros.....

.....The Bohsox suffered their first loss of the season. The bats were really cold! Only 5 hits! Al Gibbons took the loss. Al let up only 6 hits. He struck out 2 and only allowed 2 earned runs! The Astros didn't win this one, the Bohsox lost it! Sorry Al!!

 

JUNE 5, 2010 (WON 11 - 1) vs Mason Dixon Red Sox.....

.....After loosing their last game, the Bohsox faced the Red Sox with a lot to proove and they did! In a shortened game (5 innings), due to the 10-run rule, the Bohsox had 13 hits, scored 11 runs and defeated the Red Sox, 11 to 1. Scott Kalista pitched a gem! He struck out 12 and allowed only one hit and no earned runs, capturing his 5th (5 & 0) win of the season.

 

JUNE 19, 2010 (WON 12 - 2) vs Maryland Mutual Mortgage.....

.....In another shortened, 5 inning game due to the 10-run rule, the Bohsox captured their 7th win (7 & 1) of the season behind another good outing by Scott Kalista. Scott had 6 K's in the five innings and allowed only 3 "dink" hits. Nearly the entire line-up contributed to this win! Phil Hopkins (2 singles, a triple & 1 run), Damian Michalak (2 singles, 2 stolen bases, 2 runs & 1 rbi), Donny Hopps (double & 1 rbi), Tom Trela (2 doubles, 2 runs & 1 rbi), Dave Pitz (2 walks & 2 runs), Sean Pollack (single, double, run scored and 2 rbi), Tom Mariano (2 singles & 2 rbi), Doug Blair (2 triples & 2 rbi) and Scott Kalista (2 singles & 1 rbi). GREAT TEAM WIN!

 

JUNE 23, 2010 (WON 12 - 9) vs Yankees.....

.....The Bohsox brought their bats and their eyes to the contest vs the Yankees! They hammered out 11 hits (8 singles, double, triple & homerun), and walked 11 times. The entire line-up reached base and scored at least once. Scott Murray reached base 3 of 4 at-bats and knocked in 4 RBI, while Damian Michalak added a 2-run homerun. Tony Barber got the WIN (3.1 innings 4 hits, BB & 2 earned runs), in relief of Scott Murray (2.1 innings, 6 hits, BB & 3 earned runs), and Tom Trela shut-the-door capturing the SAVE (1.1 innings, 1 hit, BB, 4 K's & no runs). Another GOOD TEAM WIN!

 

JUNE 30, 2010 (WON 1 - 0) vs Astros.....

.....This was a pitcher's duel! A total of six hits allowed in the game. Scott Kalista had another good outing for our Bohsox. He went the distance and had a no hitter through 5.2 innings, allowing only two hits in the game, and no runs! Sean Pollack's triple knocked in the GWRBI and the only run in the game!

 

JULY 7, 2010 (WON 5 - 2) vs Mason Dixon Red Sox.....

.....Al Gibbons got the WIN (6 innings, 5 hits, 2 K's, 2 BB & 1 earned run) and Tom Trela closed the door in the bottom of the 7th to earned the SAVE against the Red Sox. Duane Reiswig (2 singles, RBI, 2 RUNS, BB & 2 stolen bases) and Tom Mariano (single, double, RUN, ROE & 1 stolen base) lead the offense in the WIN! Tom Trela and Scott Murray, each added a RBI in the contest.

 

JULY 17, 2010 (WON 9 - 0) vs Mets.....

.....Another notch in the win column for the Bohsox. Scott Kalista went 5 innings, allowed only three hits and captured the win. Phil Hopkins and Tom Trela eached pitched an inning of no hit, no runs baseball to complete the shut-out for the Bohsox. Nearly everybody in the line-up contributed offensively. Another good win!

 

JULY 24, 2010 (WON 16 - 3) vs Maryland Mutual Mortgage.....

.....Scott Murray went the distance (5 innings, 5 hits, 2 K's, 2 BB, 1 HBP, no earned runs) and got the WIN in the game shortened (10 Run Rule), 16 - 3 victory! The offensive attack was lead by Duane Reiswig ( 3 for 4, 2-1B, 2B, 4 RUNS & 4 RBI), Donnie Hopps (3 for 4, 1B, 2-3B, 3 RUNS & 3 RBI), Dave Pitz (3 for 4, 2B, 2-3B, 1 RUN & 3 RBI). Doug Blair (3 for 4, 3-1B & 3 RUNS) and Damian Michalak (3 for 4, 2-1B, 3B, SB, 2 RUNS & 1 RBI). RECORD (to date) is 12 WINS & 1 LOSS!

 

AUGUST 5, 2010 (LOST 4-2) vs Astros.....

.....Quiet Bats + Rough Defense = a loss to the Astros in the first round of the playoffs! Enough said!

This year, FHRC's Baltimore Bohsox will be selling raffle tickets for a 7 day/6 night

vacation at Ocean City's, oceanside Eldorado Condomimium on 36th Street. The raffle tickets ($2.00 each/3 for $5.00) are now available.
